Applications are open for the Club of Foreign Press Correspondents Professional Excellence Prize 2022-2023. As an affiliate of the Association of Foreign Press Correspondents, the Club of Foreign Press Correspondents helps foreign journalists advance their careers in the United States.
The Club of Foreign Press Correspondents recognizes US-based foreign journalists who publish abroad in radio, TV, online, print, and online foreign media.
Their published reporting must fall into one of the following categories:
- Global Health Care and Covid19
- Technology
- Environment and Climate Change
- Minorities, Inequality, and Discrimination
- Business and Economics
- International/National Politics
- Misinformation
- Arts and Entertainment
Award
- An award of excellence will be accompanied by monetary support of $2,000 to $5,000 for each recipient.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be based in the US and work as foreign correspondents for foreign media.
- Foreign journalists must submit no more than one piece of professional work published in any format (print, radio, online, broadcast, or print) for a foreign media based abroad in the years 2021-2022.
Application
Applicants are not allowed to submit more than one professional work, and each work must fall within one of the categories listed above. Applications are due by October 15, 2022, at 11:59 pm EST.
